Not every cabling requirement is a fit-out. Most of what an IT manager in Dubai actually deals with is smaller and more awkward: six new desks in a corner with no outlets, a camera that needs a drop, a rack nobody has been able to read since the last contractor left, or one port that fails twice a week and cannot be pinned down.
That work still deserves the same discipline as a full installation. A run pulled quickly through the wrong void, terminated in a hurry and never tested is the link that will be argued about for years.

New outlets and desk points
Additional network points where the floor plan has moved on: new desks, hot-desk banks, meeting rooms, reception positions, printers, screens and machinery. Runs are taken from the nearest usable patch position rather than the most convenient one.
Moves, adds and changes
Departments shift, walls move, teams grow. We relocate outlets, extend runs, re-patch to the new layout and keep the port schedule current so the next change is not archaeology.
Switch-to-desk connectivity
Patch panel to switch port to outlet, verified end to end. Where the switch capacity, PoE budget or port speed is the real constraint, we say so instead of adding cable that will not help.
Comms rack tidy-ups
Re-patching to a readable pattern, correct-length leads, vertical and horizontal management, labelling at both ends, and a rack elevation record. Airflow and access are considered, not just appearance.
Fault finding on bad links
Dropping ports, negotiating at the wrong speed, PoE devices that will not power up, links that pass at low load and fail under it. We test the permanent link, isolate cable from configuration and correct what is actually wrong.
Office moves and relocations
Cabling readied and tested in the new space before the move, existing outlets decommissioned cleanly, and the cutover sequenced so people plug in and work on the first morning.

Site walk and scope
We look at the outlet positions you want, the route to the comms room, ceiling and floor access, containment capacity, and who needs to approve access. Small jobs go wrong on access, not on cable.
Specification and quantity
Cat6 or Cat6A chosen against run length, PoE load and how long the space will be used, with the outlet, patch panel and containment quantities set out plainly.
Installation in agreed hours
Work phased around occupancy: quiet periods, evenings or weekends where required, with existing links left running until the new ones are proven.
Termination and patching
Terminations made to the specified untwist and bend radius, patch panels populated in a logical order, and leads sized to the rack rather than stuffed into it.
Testing every link
Each permanent link is tested with a field tester. Anything that fails is corrected and retested before it is handed over, not noted as an exception.
Labelling and record update
Outlet and panel labels applied at both ends and the port schedule updated, so your IT team can trace a port without walking the ceiling.
